Will Sulayem upset everything before finally stepping down?

It really seems that this is what the - hopefully - outgoing FIA president is preparing for.
Mohammed ben Sulayem is pondering yet another madness, as he believes it would be worth considering deleting one of the fundamental rules influencing the operation of F1, the budget cap.
“I look at this entire budget cap, which only constantly causes problems and headaches for the FIA. So honestly, what’s the point? I really don’t see any sense in it.” - he said...
Now, the FIA and Liberty Media have taken the sport to unprecedented depths in their joint co-production over the past 10 years, at least in terms of enjoyment factor - minus 2021. Among the many idiotic and meaningless decisions that merely aim to serve markets and various business interests, but were falsely claimed to be for the fans, the only sensible thing was the budget cap.
The budget limit introduced in 2021 sets a predetermined amount - in this case, 140 million dollars - to define the annual expenses of the teams. Its main advantage is that, while reducing financial inequalities, it also creates more exciting situations on the track, as the teams come closer to each other in terms of opportunities. It looks like we might soon have to say goodbye to this as well...
