Will Ferrari let go of 2025 after Barcelona?

Charles Leclerc believes they are facing a decisive weekend. On one hand, they are deploying a bunch of new developments that could make them much more competitive, but they also need to make an important decision. Which won't be easy...

If they do not see progress, they will have to give up on 2025 and focus all their energy on the next season:

"I think for us, the Barcelona race will be a pivotal point in the season. There are new rules for the front wings, we'll see if all this will work to our advantage or disadvantage... There is a problem with the car, that’s for sure. What it is, I don’t know, but there are quite a few things in sight that could change our situation. These are based on schedules, but the team really wants us to be ahead in every sense.

I don’t know if our developments will be enough to close the gap, but I think we won’t be fighting for victories anymore. We are soon reaching the middle of the season, and for that reason, we will have to decide slowly on what to focus on, this year or the next, on moving forward. It would be important for everyone that we arrive in the new era in a way that honors Ferrari's traditions.” - Leclerc stated quite clearly.
