Surprising: Aston Martin wants Russell.

Reliable press information suggests that Aston Martin Racing is seriously considering acquiring George Russell. According to reports, the young Brit would fit best into the long-term plans of the greens.
It seems that Russell would not reject the approach, even though he indicated that he envisions his career continuing with Mercedes:
"You know, I've talked many times about how I'm not worried at all about the direction of my career and my future. I'll be on the grid next year because I drive better than ever, and there's so much more in me.
I'm ready at every moment to fight for the world championship, and if I get even half a chance, like at the Canadian Grand Prix, I'll seize it. I'm experienced and calm enough now to just enjoy the moment, enjoy racing, and keep moving towards my goals.
Currently, I'm not negotiating with anyone, although there are many who have shown interest. I've openly stated many times that I don't want to leave here; that's always been clear. I'm loyal to them because they were the first to give me the opportunity." - George Russell commented on the possibility.
