"Stroll's injury is fake, they're making room for Verstappen."

Ian Parkes, a journalist from the New York Times, reported on a very steep rumor in a podcast episode. It is so steep that it could even be true.
According to Parkes, there is no new injury with Lance Stroll; they have simply started to 'phase him out of public awareness.' And who else could be at the end of this story but Max Verstappen?
“I heard that some people at Aston Martin first learned from the press that Lance Stroll's wrist was hurting. This is quite interesting... I myself have heard many rumors that they will use this particular injury as an excuse to diminish his character in the team, so that he eventually leaves the world of Formula 1. In other words, they are manufacturing an excuse for why he will leave the sport. Stroll's injury is fake, they are making room for Verstappen.
As a preparation for this, they didn't even sign a long-term contract with him, but rather a 1+1 year deal that would expire in 2026. All of this would make sense because if Aston really has such grand plans and wants to compete for both world championships, they need a more serious driver alongside Fernando Alonso. Let's say Max Verstappen... He would be the perfect choice for the team.” - Ian Parkes stated mysteriously.
