Sports history in Abu Dhabi: Two Leclercs as teammates on the track!

The Abu Dhabi season finale and its very first free practice are approaching, where Charles Leclerc and Arthur Leclerc will participate as teammates.

Scuderia Ferrari is not such a screenwriter; this solution was presumably born out of necessity, as everyone must fulfill the training quota set for young drivers. However, at Scuderia, there is currently no young driver available, as Oliver Bearman, who belongs to their ranks, has already maxed out his two appearances for the year at Haas, and Robert Shwartzman has just left for IndyCar in recent weeks. Thus, the opportunity arose for Arthur Leclerc to get the green light, which is also a historic fact in sports, as it has never happened before that siblings complete any stage within a race weekend for the same team.

For Arthur Leclerc, this will be doubly special because it follows his first "live" F1 deployment, not elsewhere, but at Scuderia Ferrari, with none other than his brother.
