Press: "Ferrari will be in the race for the championship from Japan"

The 2025 racing season started off unevenly for Scuderia Ferrari. The good news, however, is that their problems can mostly be traced back to setup issues rather than design flaws.

According to the renowned La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Italian team has been working hard over the past week and a half, and this effort is expected to yield the desired results. Based on simulator work, it is already evident that they have managed to find solutions to their problems, thanks to the fact that the team has tested twenty different setups since the Chinese Grand Prix. This has allowed them to address the issues seen at the beginning of the year, resulting in a rather unusual suspension setup as they head into Japan.

The team is calm and convinced that their car does not have design problems, and they are hopeful that they will unlock the potential of their racing machine this weekend. This means that the Reds will join the World Championship point race as well. Following this, development packages will arrive, first in Bahrain, followed by a more comprehensive innovation in Miami. With these updates, Ferrari aims to balance the mechanics of the suspension and the aerodynamics of the rear part of the car.
