Norris was conflicted: "I want to be perfect, that's why I make mistakes"

“Maybe I put too much pressure on myself. It's not because I'm in a battle for the World Championship title; it would be this way regardless. It's because I want to be good, really, really good! I want to secure pole positions, win races, and be perfect. And I make mistakes because I want to be perfect, but maybe I should come to terms with the thought that no one can be perfect.

I think I need to calm down, trust myself more, trust my pace, because I know mine is the best. I am completely sure that I can win all the races if I perform better in qualifying than I have so far. It's easy to say this, but hard to execute, yet this is what I need to do: go out on the track and do a better job than I've done so far. This is what I will work on!” - Norris promised himself.
