Marko: "Hamilton is completely desperate..."

According to a Red Bull Racing advisor, Lewis Hamilton is in big trouble, and he can no longer hide it. The Brit's desperation is completely obvious.

Helmut Marko claims that Hamilton has already lost this year, and he is concentrating all his efforts on the next one:

“The truth is, I see him as quite desperate. I think he is already waiting for the rule changes and his 2026 race car, hoping that Scuderia Ferrari will build a car this time that suits him much better, and with which he will have a chance to secure his eighth world championship title.”

Even Frederic Vasseur does not deny that Hamilton has not been feeling his best lately, but according to the team principal, this could only benefit him:

“It is certain that he is under pressure, as he only finished seventh, while Charles Leclerc was on the podium. But I think he can turn this into an advantage because the real problem would be if he were satisfied. He is hungry for success, motivated, and alongside him is an extraordinary competitive character who always wants to bring out the best performance from himself. This doesn’t always work out for him, so his disappointment is understandable. Now we just have to work and eliminate everything, and I support him two thousand percent in finding his true form.”
