In a few days, it will be decided whether there will be a V10 in Formula 1 again.

Spoiler: It looks very much like there will be. Let's not even deal with the fact that with such a decision, F1 is once again serving its own parody, let's rather focus on the essence.

Coincidentally, we will finally see such an idiotic decision that paradoxically even has benefits. The FIA recently hinted in the social media that it might be possible to bring back the V10 engines that were once hugely popular. At first, this seemed like an absurd idea, as the series is preparing for the upcoming introduction of synthetic fuels and more modern hybrid engines that will underpin the coming years. However, it is characteristic of Formula 1's consistency that what is said yesterday is contradicted today, and this is no different in the engine front. It is so much so that we can practically already book it that during the next major regulatory change, one of the biggest hits will be the return of the V10s. This has actually been Nikolas Tombazis confirmed in a statement, but if there is anyone who cannot see beyond his words, they should wait for the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend or the announcement that follows it.
