“The car behaves similarly to last year's model, although I must add that we did not struggle with brake problems in 2024. The balance tends to break down mainly between the entry and the middle of the corner, which is an aerodynamic issue. The main problem is that we cannot find a solution for this. We understand the problems, but the issue is that the solutions we tried with the tools we have unfortunately do not align with what we experience on the track. We need to dig deep into this, because if the two do not overlap, we will not be able to climb out of the pit. Our experts are in place; they have built sensational cars in recent years, and I honestly believe they can solve these problems as well. We just need to find a solution regarding our simulator and wind tunnel, because right now it feels like we are looking at two different times on two different clocks.” - Horner stated.
