Hamilton: "I don't care about the commentators"
2025-05-16
Lewis Hamilton is not interested in the criticism, especially not from those who cannot see beyond the surface.
The seven-time world champion's Ferrari adventure did not start at all as he had envisioned. It started off well – with a sprint race victory – but then it continued very painfully. Along with this, critical voices also arrived and multiplied:
"It's not fair how people stand towards me, towards us; judgments shouldn't be made based on the results of the first few races, but rather a few years down the line. For example, I am very optimistic about Imola right now because we brought some developments for this weekend that could make the car much better. I don't pay attention to the opinions of those who just comment, judge, but do not see into our work.
In racing, almost everything is about belief. I am strong, so if I fall once, I will get back up and keep going because I won't let my critics break me. Yes, this is a tough time right now, but I firmly believe that we will achieve great successes with Scuderia Ferrari. This will not be easy, but we will persevere and work hard. The team is full of talented and enthusiastic people, I believe we will achieve our goals, we just need enough patience!" - Lewis Hamilton sent a message to the haters.
