Dutch press: "It is becoming increasingly certain that Verstappen will retire soon"

There are increasing rumors that Max Verstappen will not follow the career path of his world champion colleagues and will retire earlier than his peers.

Verstappen himself has often remarked that he has many plans outside of F1 and does not want to grow old in Formula 1. The retention of the Dutch world champion is not helped by the ongoing demagoguery from the FIA that started in 2024, which constantly harasses and punishes drivers for every little thing... In one of the showcase cases, Max Verstappen has been specifically targeted, something that the four-time world champion of Red Bull Racing has not forgotten:

"When I have to deal with such things, I feel that it will clearly affect my vision of the future of Formula 1. Of course, it feels great to win and become a world champion, but besides that, I want to feel good about what I do. If I cannot be myself because of the restrictive things from the FIA, then I will have to change that certain vision of the future..." – Verstappen recently said, who is absolutely not alone in his dismal opinion, as the entire drivers' union stands behind him.
