Yuki Tsunoda's situation has turned from a promising one just a few days ago to a dramatic one today, as it has been openly stated at Red Bull Racing that they will let him go.

This was stated by none other than Christian Horner, the head, omnipotent, and decision-maker of the Red Bull Racing team:

"We are fully aware that if we cannot provide an opportunity for Yuki Tsunoda to advance, then I don't really see the point in keeping him. We couldn't promote him to the main team, and we can't keep him in our junior team for many more years. At some point, we have to let him go so he can look for a better opportunity. Of course, we can't completely rule out the possibility that he might still have a chance to advance, nor can we rule out that Racing Bulls will be more competitive than in previous years.

I spoke with Yuki, he accepted this, remained motivated, and wants to show that he will be the guy who can get everything out of the RB. What we are doing is technically helping them, next year they will also receive our rear suspension and gearbox.
